The only way to fix the first one is to know what the copy file name is. Or using the open command set to the same path so the user can select which file they want.

The JPG issue might be solved by changing the SaveAs parameter for 'EmbdJPGICC'. It's currently set to False. Have you tried setting it to True? It might force Perfect Effects to use sRGB when saving out the file. Then PSP won't complain.

Thanks that fixed the JPG issue.
I added a message box telling the script user to edit the original file as the script already makes a copy and I can't find where OnOne make's its copy of a copy.

I still can't iron out what the issue is with TIF files (as that is the file format I prefer). On further research if I use a JPG or TIFF as the original file OnOne returns a nicely formated file.
If the file is converted from a RAW file then after OnOne processes the file the returned file is jumbled. I'm still doing research to fix this issue.

I tried this script on Windows 7 64-bit with PSP X8 64-bit, but I just find that PSP crashes when I save and close in Perfect Effects - zero successes out of three attempts in my case. i don't suppose there's any chance Corel will just add support for .8li plugins?

Sorry haven't used the script in a bit for some reason loading the modified image as a new layer works with one PSP update and then not the next (I had this same issue in x7).
I had a backup solution already in the script where it opens as a new image. I'm going to upload the script to where it does both again to where at least one works.

You can either remove the comments symbols from the section of code or re-download the script.
