Re: PaintShopPro X8 register issue
I'm having the same issue.
I've inquired this matter from Corel Tech Support and they admitted the issue and they've already escalated it to the
engineering team for investigation. I was asked to wait for the latest Patches.

Re: PaintShopPro X8 register issue
I must have been lucky.
After upgrading from 7 to 10, I then did a clean install of Windows 10.
PSP X8 installed and registered fine.

Re: PaintShopPro X8 register issue
Hi,
I've got the following instructions from Corel Support, and it resolved my problem.
1 Open up the Control Panel
2. Change your view from Category to Large or Small Icons towards the top right.
3. Double-click on Internet Options
4. Click on the Security Tab
5. Click on the Default Level button
6. Select the Advanced Tab
7. Click on Restore advanced settings and then click on Reset just below that
8. Place a check mark into delete personal settings and then click on "Reset"
9. Once that is complete click on close.
10. Launch the Corel software and proceed with the registration.

Re: PaintShopPro X8 register issue
I still have this issue, even after I received an email from Corel thanking me for registering the PSP X8 (again). Short of making the changes recommended previously (Nilantha) outside of PSP, has anyone received any resolution?

Re: PaintShopPro X8 register issue
I just tried the above Internet Reset command, Started PSP and from the Help Menu, forced the Registration to come up.
AFTER doing that, I finally got to a screen for different downloads, etc.
Now, when I start PSP, the Register menu option is dimmed. So, I think it kept the setting.
If not, I'll post an update.

Re: PaintShopPro X8 register issue
I just bought PSP X8 after using the trial version just fine, but after I registered menus and everything was blank...no text showing on the menus or anywhere else at all. I've done everything tech support has told me to do except for going into the program and resetting the settings from in there, which is impossible since I don't have anything that I can actually see in order to tell where the setting menu is! It looks like this problem has been ongoing for awhile now, strange that tech support can't figure out how to fix it! I even tried the steps that have been posted in this thread and it's still not working.

Re: PaintShopPro X8 register issue
First close the program. You can try to reset the workspace by holding down the shift key while double clicking on the desktop icon. When it asks if you want to reset to default (or words to that effect) click OK.
Here are instructions from Corel. It references X6 but will work on other versions too.

It's still not working. Still not able to see any text anywhere in order to navigate.
