PSP X8 Ultimate AfterShot2

PSP X8 Ultimate includes AfterShot2, both 32bit & 64 bit versions as part of the package.

I cannot get either of these two versions to run.
Each time I try I get the message "A problem caused AfterShot2 to stop working. Windows will ..........." as per attached. Windows found no solution

I have uninstalled, re-downloaded and re- installed three times without any success.

I contacted Corel direct with screenshots and system details but have had no reply.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I doubt anyone here can help with these kind of error messages as they provide no details about what happened. You could find more info by going to the Control Panel, System and Maintenance, Administrative Tools, View Event Logs, then under Windows Logs Application the error should show at the date and time it happened and there may be some codes etc., that give a better idea to help diagnose.
Nevertheless Corel Support is your best bet if you can ever get a hold of them. I've had more luck getting responses from Corel Paintshop Pro and Corel Support and Learning on Facebook.

I have checked log for errors and strangely none show, so I am totally baffled.

I am going to try installing again with Norton AV turned off.

It might not be anything to do with this problem but I am having general problems since updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
