I want to import a sequence of image renders, (already in a numbered file sequence), into Video Studio X2, to be treated as a movie sequence. I know this is possible in After Effects and Premiere, but its X2 I have.
thanks

What do you mean by "Image Renders" ????
If you mean standard .jpg's or bitmaps then you should be able to just right click on the timeline and choose 'insert image' from the pop-up
when the browse to window opens browse to the folder containing the images and click on the first of the images - go to the last image in the sequence and hold down 'shift' while you click on it - all images in the sequence will be selected - click OK and all should be added to the timeline.

Re: Importing an image sequence?
Sorry, I meant images rendered in a 3d package, in this case png's. I tried adding them all (800) and get an error message saying '
"These files cannot be added to this project. These files may be of unknown file format, the computer does not have enough memory or the file is copyright protected".
The files are uncompressed, 1920x1080, RBG True colour (48bit) and about 1.34meg each. I have 8gb ram and they loaded into Premiere (trial version) no problem.

Re: Importing an image sequence?
Have you tried just adding one or two first - ie is it a numbers thing - not sure of the maximum number of images you can insert at a time in Videostudio but 800 sounds an awful lot.
I can insert numbers of .png's without problem so it could be a format problem - where your .png's are using a codec which VS does not like - or just overwhelming VS with 800 images at once.
