hello i want to do something like that :create text using layers(the post is from adobe forum and photoshop:''I used a Layer Mask to "hide" most of the Text, and altered that many times, to "reveal" the Text, part of a letter at a time'').something like that can be done with PAINTSHOP X7?also i have no idea what is layers and masks....any tutorial please?in pdf quide where should i look?also is there any link about layers,creation texts, and masks ?

Yes, but can you point us to an example of what you're looking to do? Without context that description doesn't really give a full picture of what you're trying to accomplish.

i want to create animated handwritting(you know write with ''invisble'' hand to a field for video lessons), using clips and images.I know that creating text , letter by letter ( many images of them) with photoshop elements and with keyframes of premier elemnts can create an animation.something like that i want ,using paintshop and video studio.but i dont know anything about keyframes ,layers e.t.c

You asked a similar question in the Videostudio forum so I presume you have Videostudio - I would suggest that if you want animated text in a video then Videostudio should be your first choice - you have made a number of posts now in both forums about various aspects of putting text on a screen - if you told people exactly what you want to do and then ask how to do it we might be able to help you better.

I have just knocked up a very quick demo - took about two minutes - of one of the many different effects you can apply to text in Videostudio - there are others and you can also carry out your own customisation .

a friend told me to ask this(this make with photoshop) : '' creating a script text layer hide it with an unlinked layer mask. Create a frame animation. Add a second frame where you reveal the text by moving the layer mask. Then have Photoshop generate frames tween them. It will not stroke the text exactly like a pen but it may be somewhat convincing''.this i want to do with paintshop.can i?

Yes the video shows you what videostudio can do - no point at this stage telling you how to do it if it is not what you actually need - when I work out what it is you want to do then I'll give you full instructions.


You actually want to write on screen using some combination of PSP file and videostudio ??????????????

yes like it , i told you above.but if i can write with VS X7 only its ok...anyway i want more informations about the τwo ways(working with VS or a compination of PS and VS) with keyframes , layers etc.also is released any book for corel's product?like adobe's softwares?
