X8 problem with text on a path

I am able to use word wrap within a PSP vector shape [Great} but I can't seem to get "text on a Path" to work now..It seems to jump to word wrap even though the little T with curved line under is showing.
Do I need to change sensitivity of my cursor or ????

Love the better speed of brushes and the bigger size!!

Text on a path requires that the cursor be right on the edge of the path. I've had trouble keeping my mouse there sometimes.

The other way to handle it is to write the text separately, then on the layers palette select both the text and the shape, right-click on the text and select "Fit to path" It's a few more steps, I admit. But if you're having trouble getting the text on path normally it is an alternative.

Levi, I tried that too..It immediately went inside the shape .."word wrapped".
I have never had trouble with text on a path before this feature was introduced in this version.

Problem seems to have corrected itself! I closed it down and re-opened and all was well.
Text on a path now working. Don't ask me why it wouldn't before!
I was able to do both "word wrap" and text on a path using the same vector shape.

Use the Magic wand to select the area inside the shape, then you can wrap the text inside that selected area.
