I have two m2ts files which I want to connect on overlay track as you can see in attachment. When I try to do this, I get only error and program exits to Windows...
Where is the problem? In VS pro x4 everything is ok.
The problem is that not all the transitions work in overlay tracks. The most recent versions of VS have a separate category for them. In my X8, for example, there are 40 of the 128 transitions designated as overlay transitions. But unfortunately, this was only done when it was realised that many of the transitions in earlier versions, like your X4, did not work in overlay tracks.
Which transition were you trying to use? In case it might help you identify those in your own collection, I am attaching an image of the 40 overlay transitions in X8. Hopefully there will be enough detail for you to read the names. If not, let us know the precise one you are trying to use, and we can tell you if it is an overlay one or not.
