Uninstalling PSP X7 Ultimate

Purchased PSP X8 Ultimate today.

Prior to installing I have tried unsuccessfully to uninstall PSP X7 Ultimate.

Uninstall gets to "Uninstalling third party software" and then hangs/freezes and only way I can 'escape' is to use Task Manager.

I have tried using both Windows Control Panel 'Uninstall Programs' and Revo Uninstall Pro.

Any and all help appreciated.

Just so you know there is no need to uninstall X7 unless you want to due to space requirements. X7 and X8 will co-exist.

If you do indeed want to remove X7 try using the removal tool that Corel provides. http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52337

Sorry to perhaps have wasted peoples time.

I had only searched the forum for "Uninstall", not thinking to use the term"Clean-up" as I consider "cleaning up" something you do after finishing a job (uninstalling).
