Video Studio X6 - error : Timeline contains invalid clips

Post by Stephen »

Error for both Smart Package & Export as Template.

The video playback and creating videos work but I cannot use Smart Package or Template facilities due to Invalid Clip error.

How do I identify an Invalid Clip out of 100 or so photos and vdeo clips, please?

Have you actually rendered that specific project into a final video? Did that work or did it fail somewhere. If the latter, you would need to look at approximately the point where it failed.

Thanks & yes Ken,

I have rendered into MP4 (720), WMV (640x480) and also WMV 206x160. Everything seems fine except when I attempt either of the 2 functions, alas.

Any ideas welcome.

Note: the word 'invalid' or phrase 'invalid clip' do not appear in the help and have no hits on the Forums, so I guess it is a rare condition. Perhaps you have access to the developers who should be able to trace this?
