Video Studio X6: Screen Capture Help

So, here's the short version. I use VideoStudio Pro X6. I want to capture footage of PC games, so I start recording the screen capture and then start up the game. Normally, I can use this just fine, but once the game goes full screen, the recording automatically ends.

I've seen other people complain about similar problems on Youtube tutorials, but haven't seen a solution. I was told to try here, since 6 is no longer supported.

Is there maybe something I can do in the settings? I'm open to any suggestions.
