Hi! I'm new to Corel and have the Paintshop Pro X7.
I have photos in which the Caribbean sea is unfortunately brown! How can I change the colour to a more tropical looking sea? the palette makes it look really fake.
How do I change the colour of the sea?

You could try placing a new transparent raster layer above your sea, and then filling that with a color near what you are wanting.
Change its opacity to about 50% so that you can see the layer beneath and use the eraser tool to remove areas where you don't want the colour to change. (you can use right click drag to unerase if you make a mistake)
Then take the opacity back to 100% and change the blend mode of that layer to color. Then chane the opacity gradually to get the luminous sea color you want.

You could try using the freehand selection tool and draw a line around the area you want to change. Then go to hue saturation and select blue. Change the saturation to see if that helps. Or maybe even the flood tool to change the colour.
But there are many other options as well.

Re: How do I change the colour of the sea?
Have you tried Adjust/White Balance or Smart photo fix? They change the colours throughout the picture but I've had images where these tools work for sky and water and enhance the whole image. Created a duplicate layer before applying these adjustments to make life easier - if you are not happy with the result, delete the layer.
