Hi,
I was just passing by and saw the new 2.2.1 update dated: 23-July. I didn't see any announcement for it.
I installed it to upgrade my 'crashing' 2.2.0.29.
1. It seems to have fixed 'my' crashes (selecting images and marking them as rejected)
2. I lost all of my settings from the serial number which I had to re-enter to all my customization like rename templates... (luckily I have them written down)
/Syv

Re: New 2.2.1
Cudos to Corel for this ASP2 update. I just processed many images and not one crashed. I also noticed that the scroll bar for enlarging and shrinking an image works without the touchiness of the previous version. Yippee!
So far, so good. Now to only get some of those plug-ins coming down the path!

Re: New 2.2.1
First of all, thank you Corel! It's so nice to finally have support for my camera without using exiftool to trick your software. As with the previous posters, mine also has not crashed yet since I updated a few hours ago.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the adjustment sliders? Since updating, I've been seeing some weird behavior. One example that I seem to be experiencing:
- Under "Basic Adjustments", click on the right half of the "Vibrance" slider, which moves the bar to the right and increases the shown number to 10. (As expected)
- Double click on the word "Vibrance" to the left of the slider, which used to reset the setting to 0 in previous versions. The image view & histogram seem to reset back to the default of 0, but the decimal number shown is still 10.
- Click on the left half of the "Vibrance" slider, and it will change the number from showing 10 (should have been 0 after resetting) to -10, which is the appropriate response if it were actually 0.
- Go to the next image (Using ]), and the Vibrance doesn't reset to my default of 0, it still shows -10 (or whatever number it was set to in the previous image), although I believe it is rendering the image as though it were 0.
Sorry if this is a confusing description, but I'm wondering if others have similar issues. If not, I will try it on another computer, or uninstall the program and try a fresh install.

Re: New 2.2.1
I have the same problem with most of the sliders. The image changes but the number doesn't unless you move the slider itself or manually enter the value. The sliders reset when you move to a new image but the number doesn't reset.AnthonyB wrote:First of all, thank you Corel! Re: New 2.2.1
Ok, have had a chance to use the new update and for the most part I like it. However, one issue I am having is saving my images using batch process as jpegs to another folder. ASP2 hangs up and does not save the images to the specified folder. I have to end up force quitting the program on my Mac. Also, noticed there is no guide as to how the export is doing? Anyone else experiencing this problem on their Mac?

Still no lens correction available for Fuji. (Why not copying my values from here and adding autodetection as a first step?)
Finally, APS is still incredible slow on X-Trans-Files - the main reason I continue not to use ASP except for testing.
With X-E1 I cannot see an improvement. Same poor results on critical images. (Darktable and C1 are significant better). We’ve refined X-trans implementation with the FujiFilm X-T10 and we think you’ll find that we’ve made significant enhancements.

Same issue as reported above, but on a different platform - this is on linux / fedora 22. At least we know it affects both windows and linux so hopefully it will be fixed very soon.
Corel folk - very basic functionality of this app is affected by this bug (bug shows swhen editing more than one picture...) - this makes using ASP quite annoying - hoping Q&A can be improved moving forward
Re: New 2.2.1
I'm not on a Mac, but can confirm that Windows 7 also has a part of your problem. The images are exporting fine to the folder (slight slowdown, but not hanging up), but it is not showing the export progress bar/guide. The only way to see if it's done is to open the actual folder and look at the file count inside of it.grcolts wrote:Ok, have had a chance to use the new update and for the most part I like it.
