Update 2.2.1.64 out

Post by alfivar »

Have downloaded ASP 2.2.1.64 on Windows. First impression is a much improved interface with more contrast in dialogs and good thumbnail presentation. Have not tested much so far. But MANY THANKS. Hope more plugins will be available soon.

Wow...they are alive, LOL :D It's nice to finally have an update, but more than a week ago since it has been released and no official notifications on this forum... :?

But anyway. Nice to have those much needed UI tweeks, thumbnail improvements and the ability to rearrange the tab order. However, renaming and reordering of the plugin tabs doesn't quite make sense unless you are able to rearrange the order of plugins themselves and group them under the desired tab at will. But I see that this is coming based on the changes made available with this update... :D

Hope to have more frequent updates and more interaction from the development team back on track again, but anyway, nice to have that update in hand... :D

Installed update and still a nightmare to use on Mac.

all the issues from previous version are still present and new issues have also surfaced...

trackpad zoom and scroll is impossible...

will use the open source Darktable for now...

I will keep watching the corel site for new updates but my hopes are all lost on Corel.. never buying a Corel product again.

Installed it on Ubuntu 14.04 and it's still crashing when dragging and dropping on output. Once again downgraded back to 2.1 which has the plugins I use. Not sure If I can recommend this software much longer. Plugins now working or being post to the plugin site by Corel as I know some have been submitted over 3 weeks ago. No response from Corel concerning Ubuntu 14.04 problems with both 2.2 and 2.2.1. Attached is the AfterShotPro log.
