Video length incorrect and have to play from the beginning?

Hey guys I ran into this weird problem that I never had before. I edited my film using .mov footage then render them into an .mts file. However, this is a 3.5 min video but the file property says 9.5 min. Also I can play the video from beginning and it's OK, but when I try to play it say, from 1:00, it will freeze. I tried render the same project into .mp4 and that works without any problem. I also upgraded from X7 to X8 but the same problem is still haunting me. It's really annoying... any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

As you know it's all in the "video settings" .
So check again your videos properties and at what settings you renders.

i used the 4k 30p 40mbps preset, i also tried a 4k 30p 65mbps custom setting, both result in the same problem so i don't know what i can do about it...
also seems like videostudio has a problem with .mov files too but that's the only practical file type i can use from davinci

.mov files on PC are pain. So you better fight your QuickTime than VS.
I think Corel will be flattered to know that you marriage davinci with VS.

yea i'm kinda in a dilemma now. very familiar with corel, digged into davinci a little bit and now this two just won't work together... probably will be forced to use premier pro
