As someone mentioned in another post (not sure if this thread or not), it would appear that X8 is more an evolution than a revolution. The new tool that allows you to select and move an object and automatically fill the area from which the object was moved appeals to me, but perhaps is only a one-step way of achieving what can be done with X7 with a couple of extra steps. Might have to try it out to see.
