Hi,
here is my problem.
Running VS X7 Pro SP1 (64 b) on an Asus ROG G750 with Windows 8.1, VS crash each time I try to encode my project made with .mpg and .mp4 files (40 mns long with some texts, pictures and musics). I tried sharing as a video file (MPEG-2 or MPEG-4), everytime VS crash when reaching one of the .mpg file in my project (program not responding, I have to End Task in Task manager).
But when I try to create a video file with this .mpg only (23 seconds long), everything is fine!
I tried to uninstall, use cleanup tool then reinstall VS, same problem.
Any ideas ?

When you say it reaches one of the mpg files are you saying it's the same mpg every time - if yes does that not suggest that you have a corrupt file - if you remove that file will the project render complete

What happens if you make the new mpeg-2 from the 23 second clip, and insert that new video in the project in the same place as the original?

Re: VS X7 Pro SP1 : Crash while encoding
Thanks for your answers but I followed another topic about re-installing VS X7 and NOT PATCHING IT WITH SP1.
Without SP1 (version 17.0.0.249), everything is ok.
