I have successfully burned an 16 chapter Blu-Ray disc. I'm using Corel Pro X5. The menu I created works to select any of the 16 chapters however once I select a chapter to view I am unable to skip forward or backward to another chapter at any time on playback using Sony Blu-Ray player. For example if I watch chapter 4 at no time can I jump to chapter 2 or 7 etc. I get a message saying this function is unavailable. I did put the little green triangle chapter points at the beginning and end of each clip on the timeline. Doesn't solve problem. While in edit mode on Share/Disc Burn set up screen I AM able to skip from chapter to chapter using preview.
What do I need to do to be able to skip forward and backward to the preceding or following chapter?
Pro X5 can't jump to next chapter on blu-ray playback

Re: Pro X5 can't jump to next chapter on blu-ray playback
I suspect that we may have here a confusion between the terms "chapter" and "title". When you say you have a '16 chapter Blu-Ray disc' do you mean you produced a disc using 16 separate videos ("titles" or "clips") or you used one single video which you divided into 16 sections by using those green triangles? Those would be 'chapters'. And I'm afraid VS does not allow you to navigate between chapters...
If you inserted 16 separate clips, these would appear as 16 separate images on your main menu screens (given that most menu choices only allow a smaller number of images to appear on each screen). On the first page of the burning module in VS if you click on the second Options icon (looks like a gear) in the bottom left of screen, then you will see Navigation Controls down at the bottom. The last box is 'Auto repeat when disc playback ends'. If you untick that, then the next entry becomes active and allows you to choose either 'Return to Menu' (which would allow you to then select which clip you want to play) or 'Continue to play the next clip'.
If you did indeed only insert one clip into the burning timeline and divide it into 16 chapters, then it would normally be the remote control on your Blu-Ray player which would allow you to move between chapters.

Re: Pro X5 can't jump to next chapter on blu-ray playback
Thank you for your advice. My project consists of 16 different titles, clips, videos, (I have been calling these chapters) not just one video. I have created two title pages and am able to click on any title on the menu and go to that clip. I tried burning a disc using "continue to play the next clip" and had the same problem as before. If I am playing title 3 I cannot skip to say title 6 at any time. I can however do this "skipping" in the preview mode before burning. On the Sony Blu-Ray player I get a message saying "This operation currently prohibited for this disc".
Then I tried selecting "back to menu" and that works. After every clip the menu appears and I can select another title.
Any other suggestions?

Re: Pro X5 can't jump to next chapter on blu-ray playback
Correction. I meant to say I am still unable to advance to the next title or back up to the previous title on playback. I know I can't just skip ahead several titles without using the menu.
Thanks
