Will I be able to use it if I upgrade to Windows 10?

It's an old version, possibly not. Why not set up a dual boot OS and try it to see if it is important to upgrade your OS but not your VS. X8 works fine for me.

If you are not at all confident then maybe best not to do it, but it is quite easy to do if you can follow instructions.
