Analyzing a video file's data rate?
Way back a decade ago, the grandmother of VS was Ulead MediaStudio. It had a tool to analyze a video file's data rate. This tool menus still embedded in VSX8 but I don't know if the needed procedure is. I ran across it as I just found in the basement the printed manual for MS 6.0 (360 color pages). So what you do today?? Google.
