Zero posters will be removed approximately 4 weeks after this notice

Brian Cee advised me to post or be removed from the forum members list. He didn't advise the post had to be useful or informative, thus this post. (I really have nothing else to post currently anyway.)
For a piece of software that seems to have little support from its owner (Corel) I can't say this policy makes much sense to me, but I'm playing along as I do frequently read the forums hoping that there will be a revival to a piece of software that I once found very useful.
If the forum admins want to make me feel alienated, then that might be the nudge needed to abandon this software altogether. I would think that losing users is not what the admins intended, and that can't be good for them in the long run, but it is the way I feel at the moment.
I miss the Bibble days.

Re: Zero Posts Policy
We simply need to know that your are a real person capable of making an intelligent post - having made the one post your account will now remain active for ever - even if you never post again.
Every month we delete around 100 zero posters - or close to 1200 per year - so if we did not have some form of "spring clean" we would currently be carrying over 12 thousand people who never post - creating artificial membership numbers.
As was said in the e-mail sent you - you do NOT have to be registered to view the board and read all the posts so not being registered does not affect your particular use of the forum - you could continue exactly as you have been - it is only if you want to post you are asked to register - so even if your account was to be deleted you can still have full access to the forum to read every thing and if you do need to post you can register with the same details as you first used.
Threatening to abandon the software has no impact on us - NONE of us work for Corel or receive any payment from Corel - we all do it voluntarily just trying to help other users who do like using the products.
Sorry if you feel alienated - but as I say - deleting your account would have changed nothing for you
