how to save multi-trims to separate files
I am trying to split up a video file into pieces with multi-trim. I painstakingly marked beginning and ending times for 15 segments, but now I do not know how to save them out as separate video files.

I have never found out how to save individual clips in the Multi trim option - to me it seems to just save a 'virtual' clip - so I never use it - perhaps someone knows how to save an actual clip in there
I just cut my video up in the timeline then go to "File >>> Save Trimmed Video" and save each clip individually

Doesn't that render the trimmed video to one continuous video file? I believe the poster wants to create 15 separate video clips or am I reading the post incorrectly?

Not for me it doesn't
if I split a long clip up that option is grayed out
if I select all the trimmed clips together - that option is grayed out
If I select just one of the trimmed sections that option is available and renders out a new clip
just need to repeat it for each trimmed clip

Re: how to save multi-trims to separate files
You are correct of course. I just misinterpreted the description from the manual.
Frequently, when you make changes (i.e., after auto-splitting clips using Split by Scene, extracting clips using Multi-trim Video, or manually trimming clips), you may wish to make a permanent change to the clip and save the edited file. Corel VideoStudio Pro gives you a margin of safety since it saves the trimmed video to a new file and does not alter the original file.

Disappointing not to have a one-click solution, but I will try what you suggest. Thank you both.
