Editing video multiple tracks, audio editing
Hi Guys
In Pinnacle Studio it was possible to alter the volume of video tracks simply by selecting one or as many tracks as you liked and then pulling down the audio.
I can not find a equivalent method in Corel VS 8x?
I ended up having to use split audio for each track and then pulling either end down, shrinking for transitions and so on.
Surely there must be an easier way?

Re: Editing video multiple tracks, audio editing
Highlight your clip, select Sound Mixer, then select Attributes, here will be able to increase or decrease the volume from 0 -200% for your clip, but you have to do each clip individually

Thanks Robert, but what a pain you can't adjust multiple adjacent clips!RobertOZ wrote:Highlight your clip, select Sound Mixer, then select Attributes, here will be able to increase or decrease the volume from 0 -200% for your clip, but you have to do each clip individually
Also don't like not being easily able to switch from NTCS and PAL without a full reinstall

Re: Editing video multiple tracks, audio editing
Of course you can, you can change in Preferences, Edit, you can select NTSC or PAL, I change all the time as I have one camera set to PAL and the other to NTSCMikesMovies wrote:

Re: Editing video multiple tracks, audio editing
Mike, have you learn how to copy/paste clip attributes?
This is the way to do it.
VS is dumb but still got some brain.

However when I go to edit I don't see a 'preferences' option?

I'm sorry mike if it sounds a bit blunt, but does your situation prevent you from reading the manual?
Even as it isn't perfect your basic current and future problems are covered there.

Mike,
I should have explained more fully, select "Settings" (top left) then select preferences.
I would strongly suggest that you visit Gripps2211 YouTube channel, there you will find many tutorials for VS
