I have recently upgraded to V SX8.
I tried to render the project and it goes half way then tells me that frame 248 is unreadable. The is no message to say that it can't continue rendering, and the file definitely doesn't turn up in the designated folder.
I am using four overlay tracks. perhaps its not up to the task!
Any ideas?????

Re: Video won't render
One of the videos/photos in your project has become corrupted - it cannot be read by VideoStudio
the low frame number would suggest it is quite near the beginning of your projet
the only way to isolate the problem is to remove items one at a time and attempting to render - if you can render put the item back and remove the next one and try again - you will eventually remove the faulty one and you will be able to render
check out the faulty item - replace it if you can - investigate the problem with the faulty clip

Re: Video won't render
Hi
We had a similar error many moons ago, the 248 frames turned out to be the duration of the clip, 248 frames long.
It may be a pal at 25 fps or ntsc at 29.97 or 30 fps, either way will be about 8 second clip.
The last occasion the clip was NTSC in a Pal project, the clip had been reversed / played backwards, video studio did not like that combination.
View the timeline at the %age that the render fails.
