Script
I have just been experimenting with Script to add text to some of my clips. I want my own video as the background. I was using the Travel icon. At first all was going well, but then suddenly, although I had ticked to Use Video Background, I started getting my video on the top half of the screen and Stonehenge on the bottom. No way could I get rid of this. I deleted what I had done and tried again - same problem. I restarted VideoStudio program and tried again - same problem. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else encountered this situation?

Re: Script
Hi
That’s the way the script works, using a foreground image but allowing your own video to show as well.
If you use the New Year options those don’t have additional images and our video shows in full.
There is also the Boris Graffiti filter that has many options.
Then of course the Text editor can be used, It really depends on the effect you wish to create.

Re: Script
Thanks Trevor. I can't imagine why when I first tried I didn't see that the Stonehenge photo was still on the clip! I find it odd that it should work like this because I cannot conceive of many situations where you would particularly want that - unless it were in a title clip
I tried the New Year formats but they were not suitable. I was wanting to put peoples names at the top of a group pan shot and the text in these designs filled the whole screen.
I did have Boris Graffiti but this seemed to disappear on me when I installed VideoStudio 8 Ultra. I guess I could probably find it somewhere and copy it across.
Anyway, I decided that the simplest way was to use Text Editor and that has given me a satisfactory result.

Re: Script
Hi
There is a patch for Boris provided by Corel
http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/support/updates/
Maybe running that will help, its quite large so maybe the entire Boris package?
I would have thought the text editor would be the better option giving you easier options to reposition the text.
You can of course place multiple text boxes on the frame.
The two "TT" symbol giving you a manual approach to the animation
