Topaz Detail Stopped

Post by dalematt »

I bought Topaz Detail and got a message that my trial date had expired, that if I want to continue, I have to enter my registration number that is x digits long. I have a registration number, but it is significantly shorter. I cannot paste it nor type it into the space that Topaz gives me. So, I cannot use Topaz Detail at this time. Any suggestions?

I had no problems, so would try a couple of things. First, log into you Topaz account and check your serial number there. Next, what is your procedure for trying to register your software? Not sure I have any brilliant ideas, but others here may. Also, although it has slacked off a bit in recent years, I find that Topaz still has relatively helpful people. You could try shooting them an e-mail. https://support.topazlabs.com/hc/en-us This link may also provide you some additional information: https://support.topazlabs.com/hc/en-us/ ... ols-not-30
Adverts for Corel products when you close PSP don't bother me.

I agree with pdxrjt's response in checking your serial # with your Topaz account on their website and the link they provided to obtain a 30 digit number. On all of my Topaz products I've bought, they also sent me a confirmation e-mail with the registration numbers that have worked.
You may need to try uninstall/reinstall Detail as well, since your trial expired it may have changed something in the registration number space.

Also, Topaz forum can be helpful- http://discuss.topazlabs.com/

Thank you for the advice. It took a bit, but I got my registration number and Topaz Detail is back up and running. :-)
