I have been capturing game footage with shadowplay. The footage plays fine both outside and inside Videostudio (as a clip). However once I cut it into a project, I get blurry artifacts. See the link for an example. I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Re: Videostudio Pro X8 Shadowplay artifacts
Hi Justin
Apologies for the lack of response to your post, you need to give us more info regarding your video files properties
Please right click a clip on the timeline and choose properties, what are they?
Create an image of that window to attach to your post.
Things you can try.
Go to (F6) preferences – tick show messages when……..
Start a new project and add one of your clips, you should, hopefully see a message asking to match your video file to the project.
This does not always work depending on the type of video.
When you render / Share you are best to use the same properties as the video files properties.
Is the option at the top for Same as First Clip available?
You are obviously using some type of screen capture software, unfortunately these can be difficult to edit, playback of the originals should be ok but editing is a different matter.
Ok you say “when you cut into the clip” you get the artifacts, what does the video look like after rendering to a new video. And what render settings did you use
It may be the timeline playback that is suffering, the program uses Smart proxy files, these improve timeline playback for HD type files, it may be worth making sure Smart Proxy is enabled and the files have been created.
Knowing the original properties would help
