PS3 Upgrade

Post by robinwilks »

I am seriously considering upgrading to PS3, however, the last I read on the board, there wasn't too many happy customers. Since then, I see a patch to ps3. Has this fixed most of the issues? The only problem I've had with PS2 was that I couldn't sync the music with the slides, which wasn't a bug..it just didn't have the capabilities. My concern is PS2 works fine, but it takes me forever (and a lot of spoiled DVD's) to ensure the music runs properly with the show.

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, there are still too much bugs in PS3, I've used PS2 about 2 years now and I'm quite pleased to it and I still continue to use it until ULEAD SUPPORT fix all open issues in PS3. I hope that it won't take a lot of time.
PS2 is still very good product, PS3 should be better, but unfortunately it is not.

They have received many bug reports, and have released a patch on November, I think they will try to fix all the bugs and make DPS3 more stable and attractive.

Had used V2 for about 1 year. V3 has much more powerful editing capabilities - you can preview the slideshow at any point (V2 only allowed you to start in the begining). There is also a powerful photo correction tool - it did wonders on photos that I was not able to correct using other programs. You are also able to change burning format (VCD/SVCD/DVD) in the middle of a slideshow - you couldn't do that in V2.

Be sure to download the patches - I lost my text slides and then found the patch afterward.

V3 also has fun gizzmos - the pan and scan is a blast. I was glad that I got V3.
