Crashes and closes on new system build

I've been using Aftershot on an old system with no issues, but recently installed on a new faster PC

As I browse through thumbnails, I find it crashes often , and closes. I get an error message and it is closed. When i restart I am able to go back to where I left off.

It happens most often as I come to the end of a folder (in fact for a while I thought this was the only time it happened, but this is not so)
ie: using the down arrow to go through the filmstrip/folder, and when I get to the last image this crash happens. This has happened about 12 times now. Twice it has happened in the middle of the folder.

After a week working with this new PC with Aftershot, Photoshop, ACDSee 8 ultimate, and Capture One pro, these crashes in aftershot are the only crashes or errors I have had.

These crashes occur when i browse images on 3 different hard drive volumes, two internal and one USB external.

Aargh Spoke to soon. After a great session with no closes,. I installed three plug ins, restarted, and all was good, until I deleted my first master file in the restarted session. Force close.

Well, this just keeps happening, and it's the only program on a fresh built system that has any issues at all.
It was fun while it lasted going all the way back to Bibble 1.

I've shelled out for Capture One Pro, stability, and customer service.

Apologies, just seeing this thread now. Have you been in touch with our support team at all? If you can post any additional details about the crash so we can try to recreate the issue, I'll forward on to the dev team so we can look into what's happening there.

Coming back a year later, yes I had contacted the support team via the methods available and attached the "crash dump" or whatever it is that it was called. No one ever got back to me.

Just dropping in to see what is up with version 3, and consider giving it another try.

the only new info I have;
1- The fact that this PC is a monster and is absolutely problem free. Zero crashes in the year plus since the build EXCEPT those described in this thread with Aftershot.
2- Before giving up on Aftershot completely I tried a fresh install with no additional plug ins. This changed nothing. I've been using C1 ever since.

I like Aftershot, the interface is well designed and it is so easy to use BUT v.3 is about as stable a drunk riding a pogo stick trying to cross a tightrope. I manage to get v.2.4 to stay open long enough to do stuff but v.3 has an active death wish, I tried to import a few photos (mix DNG & JPG) with v.3 this evening and it bombed out twice, v.2.4 worked first time, and this is on a super stable Linux PC that is rebooted a couple of time a year! As for customer support, they don't reply to me either.
