Registered products . . . mine are all there after logging in to my account. Going back to 2007 and Ulead VS 11+. But I did notice that VS X6, X7, and X8 (my B gifts) are all registered as at 2015-02-20. (so any server updates probably happened in that 3rd week of Feb this year).
I suppose - given the apparently uncoordinated update access we have turned over this year (never happened with VS before) - it was just a matter of time before someone found similar "issues" in other parts of the site.

Re: X8 SP1 wobbly
I save my links in a folder structure within the browser. Don't need to type the whole address every time I need to get there - just click on the saved location name. Or, as in several cases of this thread, refresh the page, or start from scratch, type the whole name again and then follow the tabs. And the results are in the posts.
But whichever way is used, clearly Corel has changed the mode of access, and is using different addresses now. The failed way is via the Corel.com homepage, and then the product. That has worked reliably every year until 2015. The working way - for me in 2015 - is now via the new www.videostudiopro.com site.
And there's not been a whisper from Corel of this happening, or why.

Re: X8 SP1 wobbly
I run Cclean to remove the scrap files, out-of-date browser cache entries and do a registry update afterwards every 7-10 days.
My walkabout VS student (now in europe, equipped with a tablet, a camcorder and X8 64bit, but headed for Hong Kong in 2 weeks) has been able to get SP1 from Trevor's link and load it.

Re: X8 SP1 wobbly
Hi
My personal feelings are that Corel have been upgrading the web pages, some newer pages work ok whilst the older links are becoming increasingly corrupt.
The old patches and updates pages even look old / aged
The routes via Corel -- Products works ok but direct from Corel.com not so good.
The problems are not just related to Patches and Updates..........
If you try to use the Knowledge Base, the search features have never been that impressive but getting increasingly worse.
Trying to download a file to fix an issue, the download will probably fail.
Sometimes it will fail to connect to the Corel server or windows will report unable to download. Either way there are problems.
Try searching for “lumix Panasonic” you should find this
Unable to import .MOV Video files from Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 or DMC-GH4 into VideoStudio Pro X7 \ ...
Some will recognize that fix, a dll file replacement.
I don’t get very far with that link, other links within the Knowledge Base are also suspect.
I will send these details to Yvonne on the back of the Patch issue forwarded by Ken, and thanks again for that.

And no notices to anyone. Pity the poor users or customers who ventures on to the site without knowing the forum exists or how to get here . . . .
