How would I go about im-printing the date the picture was taken (from the EXIF or image metadata) onto the image so that the photo displays that date, and it is also displayed on the printed image? I am using Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3. Thanks for your help, I am new to the product & have delved into the forums & knowledgebase with no luck (just yet).
Update regarding this Inquiry: I received a reply to the above inquiry from Support (in the last 2 days), where they state - "Kindly be informed that you can only show the EXIF camera model , exposure and aperture of the image. EXIF Date is not included." Responding to their reply, I asked if this inquiry could be updated on the Corel User Web Boards, to which they recommended that I post it here. (A search revealed that this topic had not been raised & I was unable to locate it in the User Manuals either.) Support advised: "Yes, you may add this information to the the forum. Also, by including this topic, you may encounter veteran users who can tweak the scripts and find a solution to your queries."
At present, my knowledge of the PPP X3 is somewhat limited; however, I wonder if one work-around would be to insert the date as a viewable watermark onto an image layer? All the same, I'd prefer a more automatic / integrated process that ideally could be toggled to insert the date to appear on the photo when required.
Thanks, any suggestions & creative work-arounds are gratefully appreciated.
Cheers, Spencer

Hi Trev,
By golly this is exactly what I need! Thank you so very much. Today, I was *finally* able to re-visit your script solution with the original problem. So, I loaded up your script & it works very well.
I have just one further concern that I'm in the process of checking further into ... I'd like to add the time that the picture was taken, just following the date as it appears on Line 3.
Although I'm not too terribly familiar with script editing, your instructions are quite good & I believe I should be able to add the time component under the included instructions - "Customisation - Line 3".
Thank you for the tremendous assist! This will prove v. helpful with a project that I am working on.
Cheers & Best Regards,
Spencer

UPDATE: I have now (next day) met with complete success so that the date and time correctly display! Thank you!
