Using image as a border in Pan & Zoom

Post by aqctv »

Made a video file using still pictures and the pan & Zoom filter. Some of the pictures because of the size have black borders around them. I know I can change the border color but I want to have a image of a blurry newspaper as the border since these are old pictures. Can this be done in VS 9.

couldn't you just zoom the images a bit more so they cover the wholde safe area?

Just create an image of a newspaper with a transparent centre in a good photo/image manipulation programme (Photo-Impact) and put it in the overlay track with your stills in the top track.

OR create an image of a newspaper with a green box in the centre and put that in the overlay track and use the Chroma-key function to render the green box transparent.

OR depending on what you want to do with the still images - put an image of your newspaper in the top video track and put your still photo's in the overlay.
