Will there ever be a version for Linux?

Post by Kneops »

I know the answer is probably NO, but I want to ask it anyhow. Linux is slowly growing and people that chose for Linux in most cases don't want to go back to Windows or Apple because it's such a fine OS. I used both Windows and Apple for years, being a webdesigner and photographer, but never liked them. I'm very happy with Linux and I'm already using Aftershot Pro for my photography. Coming from Bibble there already existed a Linuxversion for this, but not for Paintshop Pro. It would be great to be able to run Paintshop Pro and Coreldraw on Linux.

This is not the place to ask such a question because no one here works for Corel. We are a user to user forum. That being said, I would not be holding my breath for a Linux version of PSP, and I mean EVER. ASP is a program which as you know had the Linux version of Bibble underpinning it. But none of the other AV programs on this particular Board had that. So don't get your expectations up. It ain't going to happen, much as we might wish that might not be the case...

You could try posting on Corel's Facebook page as they monitor that and you might gain some support too.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed
