I recode my Premiere 6 video to MPEG 2
I use Ulead VideoStdio8 to create the project.
I burn the project on the DVD and also create an ISO.
The project plays back well on my computer usuing any DVD player.
But playing it back on my domestic DVD player and TV shows breakups and eventualy a crash.
I have done this three times with three different sorts of DVD disc and the faults always appear at the same parts of the project.
This seems to me like a faulty DVD burner rather than a software problem. It is just a new machine.
Perhaps you could give me your ideas on this.
Which part of the system causes this fault.

What are the exact properties of your mpeg file and what was its original source (apart from Premiere 6)? And what other editing did you do to it, particuarly around the place where it breaks up on your player?
It could also be your stand-alone DVD player, some of which just don't like home-made DVDs regardless of the brand of disc used. This is particularly the case with older, brand-name players. The el cheapo Chinese and Korean brands seem to be far more versatile and forgiving.
