Hi guys...new member here, first post. I just got x8 over the weekend and love it. My only problem that I can't seem to tackle is the audio dropouts during my videos. I get them for a brief second during random split cuts. Any help. My system specs below:
Lenovo Y50 Intel i7 Core 2.6 GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD, NVIDIA Graphics, Kitchen Sink.

Welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately, we need more information before we can even begin to guess what might be going on... What format is your video? Right click a clip and copy ALL its Properties here, please, or take a screen grab of the Properties box and upload it here as an attachment. If your video comes from a variety of sources, do the same for the other clips. And do the audio drop-outs only occur after you have made the cuts, or when you apply other effects? Have you actually rendered the project to its final format (which is...?), and if so, are the drop-outs still there?

I do Youtube movie reviews, and I usually would send the output straight to Youtube with my previous program (Wondershare). I wanted to try a more advanced program like Videostudio.Ken Berry wrote:Welcome to the forum!![]()

I've tried rendering in both mp4 and mov. There are no transitions at the split points. The video will play for most of the cuts. It tends to happen near the middle to end of the video, and only a couple of times. Also, this only happens AFTER I've rendered it. Durining editing, it plays fine even with the cuts.
My usual output settings are pasted below:
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 30 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 15000 Kbps
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 256 Kbps
I use my Canon T5i for recording. I've attached the properties for the source files directly from the camera:
I'm wondering if cutting too close to when I stop talking has an effect on it.
Thanks for the help.
