file too large to burn
I don't understand this - 5 half hour episodes that I recorded in long play creates too large of a file to record to disc. On my previous computer, I was able to record 6 episodes easily, but now I can't? I'm using MF3. I did the update that was supposed to correct a size problem, but that didn't seem to make any difference at all. Any suggestions? I must be missing something.

I am using theWinTV PVR USB2 with movie factory 3 se. I've been using movie factory to capture from tv. I go into 'Create video disc', select either new or existing in dvd, then from the add media I select 'capture video from video device'. My source is the hauppague wintv pvr usb2 encoder, fixed duration, for format I select dvd long play. From there I click on capture, go thru that process, and once it goes back to the editing screens, that's where it shows the 30 min episode as taking up 1.57 (1.46) GB. I can only fit 2 episodes like that on one disc, and I know that can't be right. And once I edit out commercials, it only goes down 1 GB.

Well, I figured out how to shrink the file, and my first test burn worked. Then I figured since there was now lots of room, I'd work on adding pictures to the menus and a small (maybe 20 second) intro clip to the beginning. The size didn't change - it says 3.65 (3.40) GB and the required says 4.70 (4.38 ) GB - so this should fit right? Well, when it goes to burn, it says the dvd is too small. I had it set on standard play, then decided to switch to long play. That worked, but will now only play on my computer and ps2, but not my actual dvd player. Any suggestions? I am completely baffled.
Also, the images get really blocky (not sure if that's the right term) during fast action type scenes, but looks pretty good otherwise. Any ideas on how to correct this problem as well?
I have several discs worth to burn, and would like to get these of my computer. *sigh* help! LOL!
