Post by sophorus »

After installing the upgrade 2.2.0.29 on ubuntu 14.04 the program is no longer working. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but still not working. I'm on a 64 bit AMD system.

So how should anyone be able to help with basically no information?
How about running it from the commandline to see if there is any information?
Or checking the log file.

It runs just fine on my 14.04 box...

cheers

Sorry afx, I didn't mean to irritate anyone by not providing more information (I was just looking for some general feedback). But I'd certainly be thankful for any help in actually getting this to work. I don't have experience with troubleshooting, but here is what I was able to find after downloading the upgrade and reinstalling it after first removing the old version:

dpkg.log

I tried to run it from the command line as you suggested, but keep getting this error message:
chris@chris-msi870s:~$ /opt/AfterShot2(64-bit)/AfterShotPro
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `64-bit'

[EDIT]

Turns out that I didn't have the correct command.

With /usr/bin/AfterShot2X64 %F

I get

remove asGPS and install the 64bit version for 2.2. located in the parallel thread. if that does not work try without asGPS. perhaps there are missing qt-web libs like on windows.
