SOLVED: Sony A6000 Support

Post by PhotoHare »

Hello,

How is the sony A6000 supported?
I can't find lens corrections for it.
Some of my ARW files show extreme barreling.

EDIT

Thanks,

I solved it, I bought Capture Pro 8, Peoblems solved. It even has a better quality.
So Thank you for not supporting Sony a6000

It looks to me as though there is no calibration information for the E-Mount lenses.
You might be able to get some data from the lensfun database - it seems they have developed some corrections.

It's true that ASP doesn't ship with profiles for Sony E-Mount lenses, unlike C1 and LR but much the same as PN. However a number of users have posted lens profiles:

http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=46889
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=52929
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=46891
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=46890

Some of these came from the lensfun DB. You may find more there.

A bigger problem than the missing profiles is that last I looked, ASP can't identify which lens was used and so you have to know (or check the metadata some other way) and select the correct profile yourself.
