Hello,
I have tried previous versions( 1 & 2) of ulead dvd picture show and I never had any problems.
Two days ago I download the trial version of DVD picture show 3 and so far I was not able to create my first slide show. For my first slideshow I used 30 pics, all the pictures was taken with high resolution digital camera 4 megapixel, each image is about 1.6 mb, I added sound and effects to it, and in four hours it only processed 6 % and my processor was running at 100%. For the second try I used only 3 pics also I added sound and effects, and in two hours it was at only 14 % a little faster but not good enough also my processor was running at 100% during the whole time. So for my third try I reduced the size of pics from 1.6 mb to about 80 K each, added sound(music in mp3 format also used on the first 2 tries) and effects and still takes forever about 20 % per hour and the processor was running at 100%, so finally I used the same 30 pics reduced to about 80K each and did not add any effects or sound and the process time was fast about 15 minutes, but during the whole time the processor was at 100%. So finally I added efects and sound to these new reduced pics and again I was back where I started processing at 18% an hour, also the processor running at 100%. Does anyone can help me on this? Also why is the processor running at 100% in all tries is this normal for this new version?
Semprom 2.4, 512 MB memory, 160 GI HD (60 gig available).
Thanks
Vanderlei

Probably there's a problem with the installed copy of PictureShow 3 on your computer. You can try reinstalling it while it's still within the 30 day trial period...
