Can I add Transitions that I have bought in X7
I mainly use X7 for video production. Occassionally I use Camtasia and have purchased a series of transitions that are not available in X7 - is there any way I can IMPORT these transitions into my X7 so that my production styles are similar whichever tool I use to produce ? THANKS in advance for any responses.

Hi John
Unless the transitions were made specifically for Video Studio I doubt they will work.
VideoStudio transitions are here:-
C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X7\Vfx_plug
Neither does there seem to be an import transitions option.
However adding the appropriate file to the Vft_plug folder should work, may need a program reset?

Thanks Trevor - that's what I feared might be the answer.
Do you know of any resources that SELL additional transitions built for VS ? Some of the ones I use in Camtasia are really good - I know VS has a good variety, I am just looking for any additional ones and I am happy to buy them if I can find them
Rgds John

Hi John
There are Burger Transitions available a while ago, I assume still able to download.
However may only work with 32 bit systems? Whether they work with the latest Video Studio may also be a problem?
There is a post referring to these here

I am having a little problem in finding the download site, this is the best I have found

A German company called proDAD has some transition packages which work with VS -- or at least used to. Some of them have been included in the Ultimate version of VS X8. But if you go to the proDAD website, make sure you look up the compatibility of any of the packages on offer with Video Studio.
