X7 Smart Photo Fix woes

Post by edwinn »

Still in the first week of X7U and noticed the SPF tool workspace has changed a lot since X4.

First off.. SPF opens to the same size as the MAIN X7 window, which isn't bad, but smaller images are automatically Zoomed to full SPF screen by default? So right away the 1:1 has to be clicked, or zoom adjusted.. every time? Are there any presets for the zoom in SPF?

Next I see the Preview check-box is WAY DOWN in the lower-left corner? ?? huh? the opposite corner from the setting panel?

Are there any Hot keys to engage these function? like a hotkey for 1:1? or a hotkey for Preview?

If you click inside the Zoom field, it will activate it, and the mouse can be used to 'wheel' the image in and out! that's good!

These are usability issues, and sometimes I get the feeling that the programmers are youngsters! :)

Please describe any SPF hot-keys or presets, or usability tips. I use this function a LOT!

You can create your own by right clicking on the menu bar, customise. Click the keyboard tab, Category: Adjust / Select SMF in the commands drop list and apply a new shortcut key.
