VSX8 install stuck: "please wait while we configure directx"

Hi,

I installed a trial of VidoeStudio X8 in one computer normally. Now I am trying to install in my main computer (i7, 16GB RAM, GForce 750M 2GB).

However, the installation stuck in the very beginning with the message "please wait while we configure directx".

I kept the install wizard running all the night (12 hours) and there was not progress. Just the message "please wait while we configure directx". Actually, Corel wizard interface changes the content showing the new features, etc., but the progress of the installation is really stuck.

I read some post in this forum to run the setup with administrator privileges. I did this, but it didn't solve the problem.

I would appreciate any tip on how to overcome this problem.
