Hello,
I have problem with VideoStudio Prox8 Ultimate.
In VS Prox4 I can change frame size in wmv custom profile, but in the newest version I can't do this, because this field is uneditable.
I need frame size 720x576 but it's unavailable in the presets. Anyone can help me?

Is that the resolution and format(WMV) as the original file?
If so and that's what you have Project Properties set to or its the resolution and format of the first file in the timeline, then in the share tab for rendering, click the check box for "same as project properties" or "same as first video".

No, original file is 1920x1080, but I need to make two version, and one of them is SD (720x576).trailryder42 wrote:Is that the resolution and format(WMV) as the original file?

Hi
For earlier versions of video studio there was an advanced option for creating new WMV templates, this was removed by Corel, I think for X7.
You could however use Windows Media Encoder to create a template.
Your 1920 x 1080 video uses a widescreen format 16:9, so why would you want to create a 720 x 576 video frame, that would either add a black border top and bottom or distort the original video frame.
There is an option for Best Neptune that would use 640 x 480, that would create a 4:3 frame but again with black borders.
I would have thought the 1280 x 720 would give a smaller frame at 16:9 ratio.
Why do you specifically require 720 x 576?

Re: How to change Frame Size in WMV profile? [VS prox8 ULT]
Hi
if you are intending to burn a standard definition DVD you need a MPEG2 video file not WMV
If you render to Mpeg2 DVD 16:9 will create a compliant video file suitable for burning a disc
As mentioned earlier rendering to wmv 720 x 576 will create a black border, then if you burn the WMV to dvd will be converted to Mpeg2 prior to burning the disc (Convert Title process)

Re: How to change Frame Size in WMV profile? [VS prox8 ULT]
So, Is it possible to change the video frame size in Corel VideoStudio Pro? I have version X6. I am wanting to use this program to place a slideshow in a layer slider on a website, but I want it to be 1200 x 350 pixels... and I cannot figure out anywhere on if sizing my frame is possible? Please help me
