My DVD burner doesn't work so I am trying to create an .iso file to burn it elsewhere. I have three videos which I have shot myself, edited in Pro X4 and saved as separate MPEG2 files (variable bitrate up to 8000kbps, 720x480 widescreen resolution, PAL-DVD). These MPEGs can be played in other applications, meaning they are not damaged. Now I would like to put them on a DVD that can be played in a stand-alone player (I have done this successfully when I used the older UVS10 and UVS11). I create the menu and chapters, choose the video settings and let it create an .iso file. It goes until 51% of the total progress (99% of creating the menu) and then I get the error 5:0:0.
This has happened to me at least ten times already. I tried updating DirectX, running CCleaner, restarting the laptop, I removed all the peripherals and switched off the Wi-Fi - no difference! Feeling defeated I have installed my old UVS10 and wanted to use it to make the compilation but I cannot get past the first stage of creating the DVD. There is no "next" button of any sort. I can only choose my files and create chapters, and I am stuck there. I guess maybe the UVS doesn't like my Windows 7. I do not recall anything like that happening before and I am not a newbie to this software.
I have run out of ideas what to do
HELP!
