ASP 2.2.0.29 X64 not support Nikon D3300 yet.

Post by KOSKERS »

ASP can read the NEF file of D3300.
i saw ASP2 supported d3300 profile long time ago. but i want say ABLE TO OPEN AND SEE NOT equal OPEN IT CORRECTLY !!!
The WB never correct. it looks always green. Especially in dark environment.
My lens is Nikkor 18-55 VR2.
ASP2 can not recognize its lens information in EXIF. Hence Lens Correction is useless. when i choose to my lens in ASP manually,ASP can not correction my lens. Ugly.

Lightroom 6 can recognize my lens and RAW file perfectly. it can correct my lens too.
Even MACOSX 10.10 new application-- PHOTOS can open my NEF with the right WB.

please repair it ASAP.
Thx.

Lens correction data is read out of the exif-files. Errors occurre - as far as I know - because different manufacterers use the same modelnumber for their lenses. My tamron 2.8 70-200 is read as Nikon 2.8 70-200 mm. (Maybe the Nikon lens is a Tamron lens? Who knows nowadays? :) )
WB: Did you change the setting in AS2 and save it as default? White balance should be: "as taken" or something like that.
(I have a german version and there the standard is: "as taken" (wie fotografiert) ) And I don't have any problems with my 3 cameras (Nikon D300, Nikon D5200, and Sony alpha 6000)

When i import D90 and 5D3 RAW,the WB is correct.D3300 is incorrect. Using As Shot preset.
