Scripting Group?

Back in the olden days , Jasc Paint Shop Pro used to have various newsgroups on Usenet. As I recall, one of those was a Scripting group, where you could go to specifically discuss scripting issues and where users would post new scripts they came up with that might be useful to others. Is there any such place for Corel's Paintshop?

Thanks for your reply! I have already discovered your site and it's a great resource. But I was wondering if there was (or could be) a specific group on the Corel board specifically dedicated to scripting as mentioned in my first post. I assume there isn't, but perhaps if enough of us request that Corel create such a group (as a sub-group, for example, of the Paint Shop Pro group), they would create one.

Hi Joe, long time no see

They're still there, but the people at Corel, refuse to reinstate the links to the newsgroups on the Corel website, so of course users don't know that the newsgroups are alive and reasonably well.

Hi Joelle! Yes, I'm afraid that real life intervened in a variety of ways and definitely limited my time to indulge in groups and more. About a week or so ago I got to thinking that, with Windows 10 coming out soon, there was a good possibility that PSP 9 might not work anymore, so decided to try the latest Corel version. And, of course, that suggested getting back to the group to be able to learn faster.

Don't know how much time I'll be spending with the group at the moment but perhaps can contribute a bit while I learn and as time permits.

Thanks for your info, and hope things are well with you and the others I recall fondly from the usenet groups!
