The plugins that's compiled for ASP 2.2 so far is;

  • Bez
    Grid
    Mix3
    zChannelMixer
    Zone

..and asGPS - You can find it here in the plugin section. I guess it's working for Mac/linux.
For Windows 7 64 bit there's some issues that has to be resolved before it's working.

Thanks for info, then I'll probably wait with update until more plugins are recompiled.

I just went through the plugins on Corel's site and noticed that both Lab Curves 2 and Lab Tools is available for the 32 bit version of ASP 2.2. Still waiting for the 64 bit versions...

Does anyone know if Ztext, Zperspector, Wavelet Sharpen and Wavelet Denoise are going to be updated for 2.2 64bit (these are the more useful plugins on the site)?..

I really wish Corel would have bought the source code to the plugins instead of depending on the individual developers to update (when those devs feel it).. It's like the company is at the mercy of individual developers to make their software run and with all that, it's the customer who is punished indirectly... imagine when ASP 3.0 comes out, the same issue will arise.. Wait for devs to update plugin.. in the meantime, don't edit your photos?

There are a number of essential functions in ASP that are absent without plugins. The grade filter followed by dévellopeur I even believe that there is still no 64 bit version!

How long it will take to get this down on the 2.2 version 64bit?

It would be normal that this function is present natively without waiting for a possible plugins!

Here are the most useful plugins in my opinion :

-Wavelet Sharpen
-Wavelet Denoise
-Zperspector
-Ztext ---- (if only ASP 2 had native Watermarking support built in)
-Vigne
-Black and White

None have been updated for 2.2 (without these plugins, ASP 2 is pretty much a photo manager and light editor.. not the pro editor it claims to be)

I fear what ASP 3 will bring ; will we have to play the waiting game for the plugin devs to update again?

I agree. The Grad Filter plugin seems to have been abandoned for a while, and possibly discontinued by the developer. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that this has been one of the most popular plugins for ASP and everybody seems to now be seated in the same boat on this. For the images we already have used it on we need a fix/plugin with backwards compatibility. For future use I have suggested a similiar and better tool for layers that will expand your tweaking abilities rather than limit them as the Grad Filter plugin does. I made a post recently regarding these points here http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=56543

They guys are too busy right now. I expect the plugins to show up sooner or later...

They made the offer....

Wavelet Sharpen, Wavelet Denoise and Zperspector are among the most critical in my workflow. Vigne has been updated and is working under 2.2 now.

Unfortunately, it seems that I will have to revert to the previous version of ASP. These sorts of downtimes with incompatible plugins makes the software unusable as it comes with a very limited toolset. Combined with the constant crashing of ASP2.2 or ASP2.1 (with OpenCL and some plug-ins) equates to software that is among the lowest quality.

That being said, there still isn't a full featured alternative to ASP in terms of having full on control with these plug-ins.

Without the plugin Silicon Bonk, ASP is only half of use for me.
Unfortunatelly, it is not availbale yet for ASP 2.2

Hi,

I downloaded the Bez plugin (64 bits ASP 2.2) but after installing it, the plugin does not show up anywhere. Tried to reinstall it and ASP ask me if I want to replace the existing version and after answering "YES" and go forward with the installation, still no BEZ plugin in any of plugin sections. I am on Mac. Am I missing something ?

Thanks for your help.

Is there any way to download an older version of Aftershot, in order to have access to a wider range of Plugins?
