Hi,
I have been using ASP since the Bibble 5 days. But mostly as a front end to Lightroom. I use it mostly to cull, rename the raw files, and move them to the correct directory before importing them into LR (I rely a lot on collections and publishing). Now, I'm not sure about LR. I do not want to go the subscription route.
I run ASP 2.2 x64 under Ubuntu. I see people complaining about problems with the plugins.
Do the plugins works under 32 bit? Is ASP2.2 a new 'beast' that requires new plugins in 32bit and 64bit? Should I switch from ASP 2.2 x64 to 32bit (my Ubuntu is 64bit)?
Thanks
Syv
Can somebody explain to me...

Re: Can somebody explain to me...
All plugins, no matter whether 32 or 64bit need t be compiled fresh for 2.2 as the Qt framework used by AS changed and therefore all the UI functions that plugins use get touched as well.
For your workflow I would think this is all completely irrrelevant if you only use AS as a frontend before processing (sounds like my own workflow
cheers
