VS9 capture error (this pin file....)

Hi,

Does anyone have an idea as to why I get the below error when tring to capture video using VS9 (but not when I use VS8):

"Unexpected error: This pin cannot use the supplied media type."

I am not even sure what error is telling me, although I believe it comes
from Microsofts DirectShow software.

The obvious solution is to use VS8, but I would like to solve this one.

Basic question..

What is your capturing device?

It's a Sony DCR-HC85, miniDV, which I purchased last year.
