Hello,

running AfterShotPro 2.2 on Linux Mint 17.1-64 bit, cinnamon desktop, freshly installed, and having to work for ,more than 2 days to get it running again :(

First of all my system:
AMD Quadcore with 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA 9400 graphics card with 1 GB of RAM

The following problems had to be solved and how I resolved them:
- with the standard nvidia driver proided with Mint 17.1 AfterShot told me "Could not find OpenCL platform"
=> installed the new 340.76 driver and AfterShot showed up with settings for OpenCL

- no webgalleries were created
=> deleted .AfterShot in the home directory
=> deleted AfterShot directory in the pictures directory of the home directory

after that
- webgallery for the first directory was successfully created (converting NEF-RAW to jpg)
- webgallery for the second directory AfterShot hangs after the second picture (converting Sony ARW to jpg; cancelled job)
- webgallery for the third directory without restarting of AfterShot, selecting only NEF-Files, 20 pictures selected => nothing happens => restarting AfterShot => all pictures still selected => deleting the webgallery folder => restart creating webgallery using "file -export with batch preset" => it seems as nothing happens (the bar was not showing any progress), but suddenly the message appeared that the gallery was created => checked it and found it!
- webgalelry for the fourth directory, contained only *.ARW files of Sony, selecting 47 of 47 files, using "file-epxport - create webgallery" => AfterShot hangs after 4 pictures
Any suggestions?

The former AfterShot 2.0 worked well!! It displayed all files and I could work with all files, editing etc.

Still a pita:
- No possibiltiy to choose my preferred camera systems:
-- working with a Nikon D300 with the tamron 17-50, 24-70 and 70-200 mm
-- working with a Nikon D5200 with a tamron 16-300
-- working with a Sony alpha 6000 with a tamron 18-200 and a sony 50 mm lens
=> Sony alpha 6000 is unknown => i use the nex 7
=> Nikon D300 ok, but missing tamron lenses or the tamron lenses are indentified as Nikon lenses and why do I always have to scroll down the whole list to look for my lenses?
=> Nikon D5200 tamron lens missing

Why isn't there a possibility to create / store the camera profiles? For example Nikon 1-4 and why is the actual Sony not listed?

Regards
Ulf

I am also experiencing the "Previously registered size 16, now registering size 0." error with the Wavelet plugins (DeNoise and Sharpening).

I am running Ubuntu 14.10 64bit.

With the 64bit version of Aftershot, I get the error and the app will not launch without my removing those plugins (64bit) from the ~/.Aftershot directory.

The 32bit version of Aftershot will launch with the 32bit plugins loaded, but they do not appear in the UI. The error message there is: "Plugin library contained no recognizable symbols.

At this point, I am assuming that there is something fundamentally broken with the Aftershot 2.2 plugin system on Linux.

I ran into the same problem as Joshmore, so I know the answer.
The Wavelet plugins have still to be recompiled for the new 2.2 version.
When a plugin has been recompiled, you will see two sets of downloads - one for the new interface, and one for the old.
I don't understand why Corel thought it was a good idea to make us burrow down into each plugins details to see which had been updated. Oh, wait, "... Corel thought ..." - possible oxymoron

Dear Corel,

I was not able to use 2.2. With the lastest graphics driver for FX 580, latest JAVA, and standard accelleration, it would blink "white" twice after cropping (any file) and occasionally crash. I reverted to 2.1 and all is normal again. Please address this problem so I can keep up with your improvements. Unfortunately, the changes you made recently are giving some of us a problem. I don't use plugins.

Plugins do not load in 2.2 osx yosemite. I tried a mix of older as well as newer 2.2 "compatible plugins - this is what I see in the logs:

0.0: Bibble program arguments ("/Applications/Corel AfterShot 2 (64-bit).app/Contents/MacOS/Corel AfterShot 2 (64-bit)")
0.3: Loading plugins
0.17: "Error loading plugin: /Users/rsawarka/Library/Application Support/AfterShot/Plugins (64-bit)/Grid-64.afplugin"
0.17: "Plugin library contained no recognizable symbols."
0.17:
0.18: "Error loading plugin: /Users/rsawarka/Library/Application Support/AfterShot/Plugins (64-bit)/USM.afplugin"
0.18: "Plugin library contained no recognizable symbols."
0.18:
0.20: "Error loading plugin: /Users/rsawarka/Library/Application Support/AfterShot/Plugins (64-bit)/WaveletSharpen2.afplugin"
0.20: "Plugin library contained no recognizable symbols."

How do we fix this?

On the other hand, these seem to be installed by default - I dont remember downloading them -

Display 2 identical pictures (eg: JPG and RAW of the same shot) and zoom with the mouse wheel. The selected image zooms from the cursor the other image zooms from the centre.

Application vers.: 2.2.0.29 Linux 32 bit
OS Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 64 bit
NVIDIA G98 (GEForce 8400 GS Rev 2)

+1 on this, Fedora 22 workstation x64, quite annoying.

The other oddity of ASP2.2 are the image adjusting sliders getting stuck and not showing the real image settings. I've seen this problem affects Windows builds as well. I find it weird that this has gone unfixed since late April until now - 4 months later and basic image adjustment workflow doesn't work properly. Really weird.

Just upgraded to 2.2.2.70, the "lock position and zoom" issue is still broken for me. Other minor issues like the sliders got fixed.
Other ppl are having the same issue when zooming in multiple-picture view?
