Hi zaphodikus

Using the 5fps video and Video Studio…….

Choose the Custom option and try rendering to QuickTime Mov file, use the “Mpeg4 Visual” compression option.
Set the Frame Size and Frame rate by User Defined.

Seems a little strange to use such a low frame rate especially with the high frame size, doesn’t seem right, Hmmm should be ok to display still images but any movement is probably gonna look poor.

When you say you need small files, that compromises quality, so how small is small?
The data rate generally controls quality against file size.

Have you considered using Camtasia to create WMV files.
Do a few output tests to compare file size. Increase your frame rate to 25 / 30fps to make a more compliant video file.
